I decided to write a few of my thoughts after becoming consistent on my channel for the past few months. I would have to say it isn't as bad as I thought. Nubian has added a lot of interesting content. Creating a buzz around my channel is something that I will continue to focus on. I really enjoy what I do so therefore it doesn't seem like work to me at all. I have made a conscious effort to step my game up. I'm a perfectionist who tries to give my best each time.

I have to admit having a toddler causes me to plan a little more but sometimes I don't. When an idea or creative spark ignites sometimes I just go with the flow. I'm learning that intuition is my guide as a creative person. I wasn't looking to do a "Dramatic Play" at all this week. I was on Facebook Yard Sale when I saw this grocery stand and my creative juices started to flow. I contacted the seller and before she could answer back I already had a plan for it.

One of the things I enjoy about myself is my ability to think outside of the box and create something from nothing. It is a gift. I am grateful. I opened my Pic Monkey, made a few templates, visited my local Dollar Tree and met the seller in a grocery store parking lot and the rest is a YouTube video. I set up after midnight once my daughter is asleep. I normally wake up extra early the day of to make sure my camera and tripod are in place, stage items for pictures, create multiple video clips and have our clothes ironed and ready to wear.

Once Nubian is up, I feed her and get her ready in a different room to keep her away from the project. We start right away because she is a morning person. Most mornings...LOL! We always have a great time. This isn't work for us. Once I have taken all my pictures and video clips she can touch whatever she likes. Having time alone with my project allows me to be a perfectionist but embrace the fact that my daughter could careless...LOL! After shooting we usually leave the house to enjoy the rest of our Saturday. I'm always excited to get back and edit content. I love to watch us make memories and display my creativity.

I'm in awe at your fortitude to build, express, and create form the ground up with the exclusion of fear, doubt or validation. Simultaneously overriding the forced-upon filters of society and ultimately the world that plague our children every day. Way to go MOM! You are phenomenal and I am learning a lot from you..
