In this compendium, I will cover the importance of preparing your body before and after your menstrual cycle. We will also discuss how imperative it is for African-American women to safe guard their wombs from uterine fibroids. Studies have shown we have the highest rate of uterine fibroids and in most cases hysterectomies have been performed. The lack of food education in the African-American Communities is the cause behind our womb issues. Ask yourself this question..."Why didn't our grandmothers and great-grandmothers lose their wombs at the record breaking numbers that we do today"?
